Landlord Accountant

JSM’s Managing Director Joshua Tharby is one of the best property tax specialists in the UK and has educated and coached the JSM team to give expert property advice.

Do landlords really need an accountant?

In one word… YES! Most landlords find that their rental income is not their primary source of income. Which is even more of a reason to forget about submitting a Self-assessment.

Normal accountants are often unequipped on giving property tax advice as it can become extremely complicated. So, making sure you have an experienced property accountant will ensure you know your taxes are within good hands.

TIP – If your property income is under £1,000 you may not have to submit a self-assessment. This income will fall into the property income allowance bracket.
